Portion Control
It’s a snowy April day (don’t even get me started on how ready I am for it to be spring once and for all) so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to make one more pot of chicken noodle soup for the season. As you can tell from the above photo, I have little or no concept of how much to make for two people. Adam jokes that I either make too much (most meals I make yield plenty of leftovers) or too little, in the case of my serving size of ice cream. I will admit I got a little over zealous with the carrots in the pot o’ soup. I couldn’t even eat all the golden orange disks floating in my bowl. Adam’s answer to that was that I should know they are just there to add color to the dish, you aren’t really supposed to eat them!
Needless to say, if you’re in the neighborhood and would like a bowl of soup, please stop by. We have more than enough to share!
