Things I love
Life is finally slowing down a little after months of busyness. I hate complaining about being busy, because everything that keeps me busy is fun, but sometimes you need a weekend where you sit on the couch and watch tv and eat chocolate cupcakes and crochet. That’s what this weekend was for me.
Here are some things that make me especially happy on finally spring days (in no particular order)
Getting into my car that’s been sitting in the sun all day, warming up enough for me to drive home with the sunroof cracked.
Fresh green blooms like these sweet peas!

Hanging pictures and making our house feel like home

Colorful granny squares (I’m taking a class at my favorite Ephemera Design)

Juice glasses (we snatched these up at Crate & Barrel on our Minneapolis trip a few weekends ago. They remind me of the juice glasses my roommates had in our college apt that always seemed to break. Hopefully these have a longer life!)

Taking walks in our new neighborhood. I take for granted how much I enjoy rehashing the day and enjoying the outdoors on an evening walk with Adam. We did this almost every day when we lived in the condo. Now we are exploring our new neighborhood and finding new favorite houses and meeting neighbors.
Sitting out in our yard. I loved our balcony at the condo, but being to walk out the door (front or back!) and sit on our stoop (almost as good as a porch) or in the backyard is bliss! This weekend my family’s coming for Easter and we’re going to Earl May to pick out some flowers to plant. I can’t wait!
