Entrepreneur
Yesterday, at the biannual Drake Relays meeting of the Jr. NAC, I had an epiphany: I am an entrepreneur. To be honest, I didn’t wake up one day and decide I wanted to work from home. I really liked my job in corporate America. I was doing what I loved, working in magazines, with a great staff, and above all, it was comfortable! I don’t think I’ll ever take that for granted again. But here I am, almost 4 months later, forging ahead as my own employer. Who knows where it will take me. I guess that’s part of the allure? I can’t help but smile when I consider how much I like to have a plan (and a checklist) and to be in control. I guess God has other things in mind.
For now, I’m writing, figuring out social media, and trying to design websites. Let me know if you have any projects for me to work on!
